An 11-CD set of all the Manfred Mann albums recorded through the 60s, together with the seven EPs on one CD, and a sampler of Radio Days Volumes 1 and 2 (featuring various BBC recordings). The set charts the history of the band, with Paul Jones on vocals from 1963 to 1966 and then with Mike d'Abo. These albums contain all the band's hits including the three UK Number Ones: Do Wah Diddy Diddy, Pretty Flamingo and Mighty Quinn. The booklet contains extensive sleeve notes and rarely seen photographs. The album is being released under the "Artist Approved" banner, signifying that this release is issued with the full approval of the featured artists.

EARLY BROADCAST RECORDING FROM THE RECENTLY SINGLE ROBERT PLANT IN 1983 Following the demise of Led Zeppelin in December 1980, Robert Plant considered abandoning music in favour of teaching. He nevertheless embarked on a successful solo career, helped by encouragement from Genesis drummer Phil Collins, who would go on to play with Plant. Robert Plant's solo career began with the album Pictures at Eleven in 1982, followed by 1983's The Principle of Moments. The latter record featured the track Big Log , which became Plant s debut chart hit in territories worldwide. Following the strength of his first two releases, Plant launched a successful tour in 1983, which covered dates in the US and the UK. One of the finest shows performed on the tour was at London s Hammersmith Odeon on 12th December which, somewhat bravely for the singer, did not feature a single Led Zeppelin song. Even the introduction of special guest Jimmy Page, who joined Robert for the encore, didn t change things as the pair burst into a version of the old Elvis tune Treat Her Right , before the full band left the stage to understandably, frenzied screams of more . Recorded for live FM Radio Broadcast but previously unreleased, this superb gig is now available in its entirety for the first time on this 2CD set.

René & The Alligators was a rock and roll guitar band from The Hague that was founded at the end of 1959 by guitarist and singer René Nodelijk.Initially, Nodelijk tried to build a career as a singer, but soon his talents as a guitarist showed. Sixteen instrumental rock singles from the Alligators were released in the period 1960-1964. This band had a clear Indian background, partly due to the establishment of an Indian Art Circle in the café-restaurant Den Hout in The Hague because of the repatriation from Indonesia. Their best-known singles are Guitar Boogie and In the Mood from 1962. They were an example for the later beat groups in The Hague , the generation that often had guitar lessons from René Nodelijk.

If history has always been written by the winners, in the case of Spain's youth music of the late '50s and early '60s, it has basically been told by the records, first by the few that were actually released, and finally by the lucky ones that enjoyed certain success and critical appreciation. Set aside as marginal, the rest have been left ignored due to the debatable and apparently set in stone statement that the history of Spanish rock starts with the legendary festivals at Madrid's Price venue promoted by musician Pepe Nieto, then drummer in Los Pekenikes. Without wanting to reduce in the slightest the importance of those shows as a revitalizing element of Spain's rock scene, the start date of those famed Madrid matinees (end of 1962) doesn't respect the fact that at the end of the '50s, and at the pace that the autarkic Spanish society of the time allowed, the foreign young rhythms slowly reached the country with the healthy intention to stay and make people dance.

This mammoth three-disc U.K. compilation features 50 tracks from "classic rock" staples Creedence Clearwater Revival, including "Long as I Can See the Light," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain," "I Heard It Through the Grapevine," "Lodi," "Lookin' out My Back Door," and "Proud Mary." Listeners would be hard-pressed to find anything resembling a glaring omission here, as the compilers have done a fine job including every high point from the band's short but incredibly bountiful run, making this an excellent choice for the Creedence newbie.

Liverpool based group that were originally the backing group for singer Johnny Sandon but decided to branch out on their own. When Pye Records recording manager Tony Hatch heard a demo they had made he was so impressed that they were immediately placed under contract. They recorded "Sweets For My Sweet" as their first song.

Australian three CD set. Bubblegum is a genre of Pop music whose classic period ran from 1967 to 1972. The song lyrics often concern romantic love, but are notable for their frequent reference to sugary food, including sugar, honey, jelly and marmalade. This triple disc set features the finest in pure, unadulterated Bubblegum fun and includes tracks from 1910 Fruitgum Company, Bay City Rollers, Edison Lighthouse, Christie, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, Mungo Jerry, Ohio Express, Lou Christie, The Osmonds and, of course, The Archies. The Black Tornado is the supporting band of Thorbjørn Risager, a Danish blues musician who first came onto the scene early in the 2000s. A fan of Southern soul and Chicago blues, he fused the two sounds, something that was evident his 2004 debut, Live 2004. This record also showcased the skills of Black Tornado, a group he assembled in 2003 to articulate his artistic vision. Risager and Black Tornado signed to Cope Records, an imprint run by the band's trumpet player, in the mid-2000s and from that point on, he's worked regularly – albums have appeared every other year, and he's toured often – and he started to get international attention in 2014 after the release of Too Many Roads. This was their first record to appear on Ruf Records but it wasn't the last – Songs from the Road followed in 2016 and Change My Game appeared in early 2017.
