Founded in 1961 by George Kooymans and Rinus Gerritsen, Dutch rock band Golden Earring (or Golden Earrings, until 1969) started off as a beatband, experimented as a psychedelic quartet and finally became a heavy rock group. Their ninth album Moontan (1973) hit the international album charts and is the band's most successful album in the United States, being the only Golden Earring album to be certified Gold by the RIAA.

Brainbox is a Dutch rock group from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The band was founded in Amsterdam by guitarist Jan Akkerma , drummer Pierre van der Linden and singer Kazimir Lux (Kaz). Their debut single was "Down Man", which established their progressive blues sound. They had several hit singles in the Netherlands, including "Down Man". "Doomsday Train", "Summertime", "To You", "Virgin" and "The Smile".

GROUP 1850's debut came out in 1968 so you know they were like pioneers in The Netherlands when it comes to Psychedelic and Progressive music. PINK FLOYD is surely an influence, many mention "A Saucerful Of Secrets" when trying to reveal what this album sounds like. They use both Dutch and English vocals.

Cosmic Dealer was formed in 1968, and were one of the most gifted bands, among the rich psychedelic scene in the Netherlands. Their only album, Crystallization, is considered to be an underground classic with copies changing hands among collectors for huge sums. Containing powerful heavy rock along with softer acoustic sections and some sublime three-part harmonies, the album is reminiscent of the Pretty Things Parachute. Highlights include the magnificent Child Of The Golden Sun, the West Coast-flavored If There Is Nothing Behind The Hills and the mesmeric title track, which demonstrates that psychedelic rock was still very much alive and well in the Netherlands in 1971.

On the new longplayer Crime Scene this Bavarian Artrock institution directs it's attention to the morbid, the perverse, the evil in good, the abysses of the human behavior spectrum in all it's unpredictable diversity, which sometimes comes across as bizarrely disturbing and conclusive, if one tries to fathom it. In six densely atmospheric tracks RPWL have once again embarked on intensive journeys through their own band vita, as well as their own record collections.

With “A Fleeting Glimpse”, Bjørn Riis has let his inspiration from Pink Floyd really come forth. Here he offers four new songs just under 30 minutes, where you can really cherry pick the Pink Floyd references throughout the listen. Riis even got Durga McBroom, one of Pink Floyd’s backup singers during the 80s and 90s, to do guest vocals on one of the tracks.

Crypto Knight is Dave Johnson & Tim Malugin. Having met online during a music course the pair realized that despite very different backgrounds they had similar musical influences and so started writing together. New material came together very quickly throughout 2021. The resulting music demonstrates their unique and varied style which has been described as a mix of Neo Prog and Electro Pop.

Originally formed on Long Island, NY, Ice Age began in 1991 when the four members clicked over a mutual passion for classic and progressive rock with a penchant for heavier music undercurrents.
