At the end of February 2022, at the beginning of the Russo-Ukrainian war, Sergey Akhunov begins composing an Adagio ‘Prayer for Peace’, echoing Samuel Barber's Adagio for strings. Articulated around the play of instrumental textures, the work is completed very quickly, and recorded by the OpensoundOrchestra, Stanislav Malyshev at the baton.

Actor and animation king Seth MacFarlane once again proves his mettle as a singer on his third album, a collection of standards, produced by Grammy nominee Joel McNeely.
