Kimbravinyl-icon has released her new collaborative album, Idols & Vices (Vol. 1), featuring artists like BANKS, Dawn Richard, DRAM, Skrillex, and Sahtyre. Kimbra had been sharing one song a week since July.

Pearl is an album by Janis Joplin, released on February 1, 1971, just four months after her death from a heroin overdose. It is her fourth album and the only album she recorded with the Full Tilt Boogie Band. The album has a more polished feel than the albums she recorded with Big Brother and the Holding Company and the Kozmic Blues Band due to the expertise of producer Paul A. Rothchild and her new backing musicians. Rothchild was best known as the producer of The Doors, and worked well with Joplin. Together they were able to craft an album that showcased her extraordinary vocal talents. The Full Tilt Boogie Band were the musicians who accompanied her on the famous Festival Express in the summer of 1970, and many of the songs on this album were introduced on the concert stage in Canada. In 2003, the album was ranked number 122 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Percy Faith was a Canadian bandleader, orchestrator, composer and conductor, known for his lush arrangements of pop and Christmas standards. He is often credited with popularizing the "easy listening" or "mood music" format. Faith became a staple of American popular music in the 1950s and continued well into the 1960s. Though best known for his recording career, Faith also occasionally scored motion pictures. This Dutton Vocalion's reissue compilation features 2LP on 1SACD - "Chinatown" (1974) & "Love Theme from "Romeo and Juliet" (1969).

"Kiln House" is the fourth studio album by British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, originally released on September 18, 1970. This is the first of the post-Peter Green Fleetwood Mac albums, and their last album to feature Jeremy Spencer. Christine McVie was present at the recording sessions and contributed backing vocals, keyboards and cover art, although she was not a full member of the band until shortly after the album's completion. The album title is taken from the name of a converted Oast house in Truncheaunts Lane, near Alton in Hampshire (UK).

"Future Games" is the fifth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. It was their first album to feature Christine McVie as a full member. This album was also the first of five albums to feature American guitarist Bob Welch. Without the 1950s leanings of departed guitarist Jeremy Spencer, the band moved further away from blues and closer to the melodic pop sound that would finally break them into America four years later. After the band completed the album and turned it in, the record label said that it would not release an album with only seven songs, and demanded that they record an eighth. "What a Shame" was recorded hastily as a jam to fulfill this request.

"Bare Trees" is the sixth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released in March 1972. This is their last album to feature Danny Kirwan, who was fired during the album's supporting tour. In the wake of the band's success in the mid-1970s, "Bare Trees" peaked at No. 70 and achieved Gold status in 1976 and certified platinum in 1988 for selling over a million copies.
