Recorded and filmed at the Rondo Theatre in Bath on 1st April 2007, this live album saw original Stackridge members Andy Davis (guitar, keyboards, vocals), James Warren (rhythm guitar, vocals), Mutter Slater (flute and vocals) and Crun Walter (bass) reunite for a very special concert which was recorded in both audio and video formats. On stage Stackridge was augmented by Glenn Tommey (keyboards), Nigel Newton (lead guitar), Rachel Hall (violin), Sarah Mitchell (2nd violin and vocals) and Andy Marsden (drums). The set that evening comprised many Stackridge classic tracks, along with a selection of material by Davis and Warren’s later band The Korgis.

Plus three tracks from a BBC broadcast from the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London and a further eleven live in concert recordings from gigs in Portland, Oregon, New York, London and Dublin. Bert Jansch and Jacqui McShee led Pentangle throughout their reunion years and are present on all recordings in the box. Pentangle vocalist Jacqui McShee has contributed extensive notes to this package alongside Pentangle authority Colin Harper.

Essential box set presenting exceptional live and BBC session recordings by the reunited original line up of legendary folk rock band Pentangle. Tracks include live versions of fan favourites such as 'I've Got A Feeling', 'Pentangling' and the hit single 'Light Flight'. The recordings on disc 1 are sourced from the BBC archives and previously unreleased. These include six songs from Pentangle's brilliant first reunion appearance at The Cambridge Folk Festival in 1982 and a great version of 'Bruton Town' from their return there in 2011, plus sessions from BBC TV shows Six Fifty-Five Special and Later With Jools Holland, the 2007 Radio 2 Folk Awards and BBC Radio 6 Music's Freak Zone. Apart from the first eight tracks that feature the quartet of Bert Jansch (vocals/guitar), Jacqui McShee (vocals), John Renbourn (vocals/guitar) and Danny Thompson (double bass) as drummer Terry Cox was absent due to injury, 'Reunions' features all five members of the original Pentangle. Disc 2 contains 18 previously unreleased recordings of stunning performances from Thiene and Milan on Pentangle's triumphant 1982 Italian tour.

This psychedelic folk classic was recorded in 1974, and has gone on to become one of the rarest records ever issued in Ireland. The Children of Lir was a musical score, based around the mystical legend of the Irish King Lir, and his children who are condemned to live as swans. A glorious mixture of catchy melodies, soaring harmonies and biting acid guitar, it's presented here complete with a 12-page booklet featuring rare photos and detailed sleevenotes, as well as six bonus tracks (including demos, non-album 45s and the soundtrack to the work's original broadcast on Irish television), making it the most comprehensive edition of The Children Of Lir ever assembled."

Jordsjø is a duo from Oslo, Norway inspired by Scandinavian folklore via jazz to early British prog. Following in the tradition of some of the best Nordic rock from the last century, Jordsjø manages to meld progressive rock with fantastic melodies and a folkish twist.

Digitally remastered and expanded two CD edition. Formed in Bristol in 1969, Stackridge were one of the most unique British bands of the era. Their initial line-up featured Andy Davis (guitar, keyboards, vocals), James Warren (guitar, vocals), James "Crun" Walter (bass), Michael "Mutter" Slater (flute, vocals), Michael Evans (violin) and Billy Bent (drums). Stackridge underwent a series of line-up changes and signed to Elton John's newly established Rocket Records label, releasing the album Extravaganza in 1975. The following year, they recorded their final album of the 1970s, the conceptual Mr Mick. The original version of the album featured a story and narration and was rejected by Rocket Records and the band were forced to prepare a different version of the record for release in 1976. This Esoteric Recordings edition has been expanded to include the original version of the album as originally planned by the band.

Like some great Babylonian harlot, the sinfully sweet sounds held within this record will deny no one, but they extract a great price! There will be no turning back should you proceed on this wretched path and cut your way through the thickets so green, for the path is fraught with danger and temptation. Proceed and you might find yourself sucked off, as it were, to a strange fairyland where every bush and clearing is gushingly alive with the brazen bacchanals of satyrs and nymphs. Continue and you will find yourself in a world where chance encounters of mildew-encrusted adult magazines, carefully stashed away in the shrubs are nothing short of erotic mysteries reminiscent of ancient fertility cults.
