Accompanied by drummer Éric Échampard and trumpeter Fabrice Martinez, Bruno Angelini dedicates his album Transatlantic Roots to certain figures he particularly admires in the United States and in particular to filmmakers whom he has followed for a long time. The preview title is dedicated to David Lynch, Spike Lee and Jim Jarmusch. "They have all developed a personal, original, sometimes intriguing, sometimes satirical, often poetic universe," he says. "The title is also a nod to French cinema (Vincent, François, Paul and the others by Claude Sautet)".
