On his 10th digital album, JoosTVD aKa The Vanished Dutchman explores futher his eclectic songwriting style that has been inspired by 1920ies "Tin Pan Alley" all through his own era-the 60s &, 70s- in all its pop melodic and groovy facets, all brought with a passion for music and a few winks. (Notch notch wink wink…).
Again, a lot of styles (jazz, blues, latin, funk) are mixed into a personal intense and humorful sauce. All done with a popsense (hooks and melodies).

DIY, one-man's band, he composed about 1000 songs so far..and counting. Joost The Vanished Dutchman is, as you might have guessed, from The Netherlands. You cannot pronounce his name easily: Juiced? Well it's an anti- artist name lads and gents! He's a musician first. Used to play and record everything on his own, but with modern technology that all changed and now he uses real organic loops manipulate them and combine that with jazzy playing, a touch of improvisation and bluesy raspy cockerish blue-eyed soul singing. Inspired by many great ARTISTS who are mostly eclectic in styles, like Frank zappa, the Tubes, Gino Vannelli, Todd Rundgren, Miles Davis, Boz Scaggs, John Martyn, Sting & Terry Callier. Mostly influenced by the 1960-70's, but he keeps a sharp eye on today's fashions. At first he started out as a drummer and played with a lot of bands in Holland. He found out that he could write songs too and ended up as a singer and did a lot of crazy stuff on stage to wake up the crowd. Now he records and writes a lot and sometimes misses playing these songs with a grooving band, but on the other hand feels very comfortable doing it all by himself.
