"Down to Earth" is the sixth studio album by American singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder, released on November 16, 1966 on the Tamla (Motown) label. The album was a departure from Wonder's earlier, teen pop-driven albums, and, along with its predecessor, "Up-Tight", it re-established the sixteen-year-old Wonder, whose voice had recently changed, as a Motown hitmaker. The LP features the hit single "A Place in the Sun". Another single, "Hey Love", became a hit for Detroit soul singer Betty Lavette the following year.

This 1966 release from Stevie Wonder, recorded when he was only 15, was his first album to chart in the UK, peaking at number 14. Despite his youth, Wonder co-wrote half the songs here, including the title track, a number three hit in the US. Wonder also crossed over with his cover of Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In The Wind", a top 10 single.

"I Was Made To Love Her" was Stevie Wonder's contribution to the musical landscape in the summer of 1967, spawning the title track hit single in the US and the UK, co-written by Wonder. The album contains a handful of other Wonder co-writes along with cover songs by Ray Charles, Smokey Robinson, Otis Redding and others.

This assortment of seasonal cheer features Stevie Wonder applying his inimitable vocal technique to familiar and unusual Yuletide songs, with predictably successful results. In "Someday at Christmas" he yearns for a Christmas when "Men won't be boys/playing with bombs like kids play with toys" - this album was recorded during the Vietnam War - striking a plaintive tone not often found on Christmas albums. Other high points include his joyous reading of "Little Drummer Boy", with its steadily building martial beat, and chestnuts like "Silver Bells" and "The Christmas Song", which Wonder delivers with total assurance, as well as a palpable sense of fun. He even brings a measure of soul to more sentimental numbers like "One Little Christmas Tree" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Me", while "What Christmas Means to Me" invokes the bubbling bass line of the Capitols' "Cool Jerk", and features a blissful harp solo.

Released in 1982, "Tug of War" was Paul’s first album following the break-up of Wings and his third solo LP overall. The album was produced by George Martin and includes numerous guest musicians, including Stevie Wonder, Carl Perkins, and Ringo Starr. Hailed upon its release as "exquisitely crafted” by The New York Times and a "masterpiece” by Rolling Stone, Tug of War went to #1 in no less than nine countries. Now, "Tug of War" reissued as a 2-CD Special Edition comprised of the 2015 remix of the entire album, plus a second disc of bonus audio featuring eight previously unreleased demos of both album tracks and outtakes "Stop, You Don’t Know Where She Came From” and "Something That Didn’t Happen”, as well as demo and solo versions of "Ebony and Ivory” and more.

From putting out a couple albums a year to only three studio albums between 1980 and '85, some might have thought Stevie Wonder's muse took a vacation. However, between his many cameo appearances, Steve Wonder released „In Square Circle“ in 1985. It was a slight return to the great music he penned in the '60s and '70–a playful yet earnest blend of funk and soul–but with a more tailored sound.

"Music of My Mind" is Stevie Wonder's fourteenth studio album, and showcases his early experimentation with the synthesizer. It was originally released on March 3, 1972 and was produced by Stevie Wonder, Robert Margouleff, and Malcolm Cecil. Music of My Mind was ranked #284 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time in 2003. The album peaked at #21 on the Billboard Pop Albums Chart, #6 on the R&B Albums Chart, and #47 on the year-end Pop Albums Chart for 1972.

Stevie Wonder created the soundtrack for the documentary "The Secret Life of Plants" in 1979. The album was released by Motown as the sequel to Wonder's 1976 Grammy Award-winning "Songs in the Key of Life". Although "The Secret Life of Plants" was not as well-received as "Songs in the Key of Life", some critics still found it compelling.
