This magnificent live recording marks saxophonist's Charles Lloyd’s first Blue Note release in 30 years. The six-movement "Wild Man Dance" was recorded in its premiere performance at the Jazztopad Festival in Wroclaw, Poland in 2013 and features pianist Gerald Clayton, bassist Joe Sanders and drummer Gerald Cleaver, as well as Greek lyra virtuoso Sokratis Sinopoulos and Hungarian cimbalom maestro Miklós Lukács, who colour, texture and rhythmically charge the music.

To mark the ninetieth anniversary of the legendary jazz pianist Oscar Peterson's birth, Peterson's widow, Kelly Peterson, produced a tribute album for the ages: Oscar, with Love, a marvelous three-disc set comprising ten never-before-recorded Peterson compositions, nineteen of his better-known works and seven compositions written especially for him, performed by sixteen contemporary piano masters on Peterson's personal Boesendorfer Imperial piano at his private studio in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

GRAMMY Award-winning drummer, composer and bandleader Terri Lyne Carrington, Gerald Clayton and Christian McBride pay homage to Duke, his trio and his creative vision with a cover of this historic recording. Carrington also enlists guest artists to help with the rearrangements and reinterpretations. These musicians include: Clark Terry, Robin Eubanks, Tia Fuller, Antonio Hart, Nir Felder, Arturo Stabile, Shea Rose and Lizz Wright. Also included are two Carrington originals, “Grass Roots” and “No Boxes (Nor Words)”, along with “Cut Off”, a delicate piece written by Clayton. Money Jungle: Provocative In Blue brings fresh light and energy to this jazz classic.

Jazz pianist Gerald Clayton is an adept improviser and composer with a bent toward post-bop and straight-ahead jazz. The son of bassist/bandleader John Clayton, Gerald was born in the Netherlands but grew up in California. On his fourth album, "Tributary Tales", pianist and composer Gerald Clayton traces paths of myriad streams - personal, experiential, intangible - that flow into one another, creating a musical narrative greater than the sum of his individual compositions.
