Dorothy Fields (1904–74) was an American lyricist who wrote the lyrics to classics including I’m in the Mood for Love, On the Sunny Side of the Street, and The Way You Look Tonight. She began her journey in the early twentieth century in New York-based Tin Pan Alley, which was a group of music publishers and songwriters. She eventually worked on Broadway and in Hollywood.

Mozart has now lasted for more than four decades, was initially influenced by the then Mozarteum professors Sandor Vegh and Nikolaus Harnoncourt, and received nume-rous awards as his style of interpretation became increasingly personalised.

Leading Swedish composer Jesper Nordin’s soundscape lies at the crossroads of Swedish traditional music, rock and improvised music. On this recording, Daniel Harding and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra perform Röster (‘voices’), a trilogy whose works are each based on different kinds of Swedish music which the composer sees as being part of his background. In Åkallan (‘Invocation’), Nordin has used the traditional vocal technique called kulning as his starting point.
