I commenced my software development career with C/C++ twenty-three years ago, focusing on creating applications for embedded systems, Point Of Sale (POS), and Mobile devices. In 2005, I was introduced to Six Sigma concepts and was fascinated by the methodologies, ultimately achieving a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from ASQ in 2007.
Currently I'm serving as Director, IntelAIx Consulting Services Private Limited. My professional journey includes valuable experiences with industry giants like Accenture and Motorola. Throughout my tenure, I had the opportunity to lead pre-sales endeavors and proposals centered on Industry 4.0 for the Manufacturing sector starting in 2013. In the realm of Manufacturing, Six Sigma plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiencies. I aimed to leverage my Six Sigma expertise in Manufacturing by offering an integrated solution merging Lean Six Sigma for Processes with Industry 4.0 for Technological implementations.
Given the statistical foundation of Six Sigma and the costly nature of its tools that didn't fully align with our needs, we opted to develop our own application. Python was chosen for statistical analysis and visualization, while Django was selected for web development.
During the application development phase, we encountered challenges in finding a comprehensive guide that covered end-to-end application building, including infrastructure setup, deployment using tools like Gunicorn, Supervisor, NGINX, and best practices for secure development and deployment. This led us to compile information from various sources to create our application.
