Temple of a Thousand Lights / La montagna di luce (1965)

An American adventurer in India (Richard Harrison) is tricked by a local Maharajah into stealing the diamond from the forehead of the God Darmaraja. This hugely entertaining costume piece from director Umberto Lenzi is sort of a precursor to Raiders of the Lost Ark. The movie is based on a novel by Emilio Salgari, an Italian writer of action adventure swashbucklers and a pioneer of science fiction in Italy.
