This book derives from the “Learning Bash scripting gently” and targets people new to Linux/Unix Operating system. We believe that the starting point of learning Linux/UNIX should never be the “ls” command but understanding the shell. Some people in the industry may know a few commands in Linux but will start sweating when you ask them the difference between a variable and a file.
