101 Zen Stories [Audiobook]

In this restful audiobook Paul Beck has collected together koans, or parables, which were translated into English from a book called the Shaseki-shu (Collection of Stone and Sand), written late in the 13th century by the Japanese Zen teacher Muju (the "non-dweller"), and from anecdotes of Zen monks taken from various books published in Japan around the turn of the 20th century. Well-known koans in the collection include A Cup of Tea, The Sound of One Hand, No Water, No Moon, and Everything is Best. These are read alongside the soundtrack The Mysterious Sound of Wind in the Bamboo.
