Tomas Cotik Violinist Cotik keeps active performing as a soloist and as part of the Delray String Quartet, and as a teacher.

The Galimirs belonged to the Sephardic Jewish community, which had prospered for a millennium in the Iberian peninsula – until 1492, when expulsion from reunified Spain forced their resettlement around the Mediterranean. Reaching Vienna by the 18th century, they flourished under Emperor Franz-Joseph’s 1867 Constitution, guaranteeing freedoms throughout the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

From the Heart of Ra, a work for viola and piano, was written for violist Leslie Perna, who plays the work here. It is in six sections, each representing how ancient Egyptians thought of the soul and its journey in the afterlife. The album also includes Six Bagatelles for String Trio, Seven Musical Portraits for Two Violas, and Three Musical Meditations for String Trio. Leslie Perna, violist, has appeared as a teacher, performer and recording artist (Albany, Aquebis, Berklee, Capstone, Centaur and CRI labels) across the Americas, Europe and Asia. After earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory and a graduate degree from Boston University, she studied chamber music at the Chautauqua and Blossom music festivals, and with members of the Cleveland, Emerson, Kolisch and Muir quartets. Her performances have been broadcast internationally on radio and television in the Americas and Canada, including National Public Radio, public radio stations across the country, Brazil's Radio and TV MEC, and ABC's Nightly News with Peter Jennings.

Grazyna Bacewicz (1909-1969) was a prolific Polish composer and accomplished violinist in the inter-war, WWII, and postwar eras of the twentieth century. Often labeled neo-classical, her compositional style continued changing throughout her work, from early influences of Karol Szymanowski to her own distinctive atonalism. Polish-American Kinga Augustyn is a versatile New York City-based virtuoso concert violinist and recording artist. "Stylish and vibrant" (The Strad Magazine), and "beyond amazing, one hell of a violinist!" (The Fanfare Magazine), Ms. Augustyn has performed as a soloist with orchestras in the United States, Europe and Asia, and they include the Deutsches Kammerorchester Berlin, Magdeburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra Leopoldinum, the Wroclaw Philharmonic Orchestra, Queens Symphony and the Riverside Symphonia.

Dr. Susan Hochmiller, soprano, is an accomplished performer of chamber music, art song, oratorio, opera, musical theater, and jazz. Performance highlights include singing at the Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto, Italy, Carnegie Hall with the Susquehanna University Masterworks Chorus and Orchestra, in the Mozart 101 Series with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Colorado Bach Ensemble, concerts with the Music, Gettysburg! Series, and numerous recitals in Italy and across the United States. She has been the soprano soloist for many concert works, including Orff's Carmina Burana, Vaughan Williams's Hodie, Haydn's Missa in Angustiis, Schubert's Mass in C and Mass in G, and Bach's St. John Passion and Cantata BWV 61. Dedicated to the promotion and performance of chamber music, she is an avid chamber recitalist who co-founded the soprano and trumpet collaboration Aire Duo, and is the author of So You Want To Sing Chamber Music published by Rowman & Littlefield (2019). She presents here an album of compositions by female composers.

An acknowledged star in the early-music field, Ms. Panthaki has developed ongoing collaborations with many of the world’s leading interpreters including Nicholas McGegan, William Christie, Nicholas Kraemer, Simon Carrington, Matthew Halls and Masaaki Suzuki, with whom she made her New York Philharmonic debut in a program of Bach and Mendelssohn.

As a guitarist, Brad DeRoche has explored a wide variety of musical styles ranging from classical masterpieces to modern works by living composers. He is an active concert artist, appearing as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral soloist. He is passionate about the music of Bach and Spanish composers and often includes them in his concert programs. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in classical guitar performance from the Eastman School of Music where his principal instructor was Nicholas Goluses. In addition, he participated in many masterclasses with prominent concert guitarists including David Russell, Raphaëlla Smits, Paul Galbraith, Fabio Zanon, Denis Azabagic, Scott Tennant, and many others. The present release is a showcase of Spanish guitar music, including works by Isaac Albéniz, Julian Arcas, Manuel de Falla, Enrique Granados, Joaquin Malats, and Antonio Jiménez Manjon.

Above the album worked the Julie Burkert - Mozart, Hindemith & Kessner: Works (Arr. for Flute & Guitar), and his release took place on 2022. The album has got songs with a total duration of more than an hour. A compilation is a compilation of original music.

This new release features three of the greatest piano works by Schumann, superbly performed on fortepiano. DAVID HYUN-SU KIM has distinguished himself as one of the most thoughtful and distinctive musicians to emerge from the newest generation of American pianists. His concerts have been praised as "emotionally expansive" and "idiomatically perfect," his interpretations as "spectacular," and his Schumann playing has been singled out as "splendid and moving… His Florestan was elegantly calamitous, and his melodies representing Eusebius were like a dear friend whispering arcane truths to only you." A sought-after pedagogue and adjudicator, David has taught at Yale and Harvard Universities. His students have gone on to win prizes in international competitions and been accepted for graduate study at Eastman, Oberlin, the University of Michigan, CCM, Indiana University, and similar institutions.

Mark Kroll is an American harpsichordist and fortepianist. He attended City University of New York, where he earned his bachelor's degree in musicology, and he received his master's degree in harpsichord from Yale University in 1971. He studied harpsichord with Scarlatti authority Ralph Kirkpatrick. Kroll was a recipient of a Senior Fulbright Award from the Council for International Exchange of Scholars, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, and various other fellowships, stipends, and awards. He made his first appearance at Carnegie Hall in 1975, and since then he has toured the United States, Canada, South America, and Europe, appearing as a guest artist at numerous music festivals around the world. He has performed in concert with Seiji Ozawa, James Levine, Kurt Masur, Simon Rattle, and Charles Dutoit, and since 1979 he has been the harpsichordist of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. His repertoire includes Baroque and Classical music by Johann Sebastian Bach, George Frederick Handel, Domenico Scarlatti, François Couperin, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as contemporary American harpsichord works. He has written several books, including an authoritative biography on Johann Nepomuk Hummel, and co-edited with Lewis Lockwood the Violin Sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven.
