Ataraxia - Ena (2015)

The band has spent the last two months recording the 8 tracks of the forthcoming album ENA. During the coming 2 months the album will be mixed and digitally mastered. The prelude of the album will be a mystic and choral version of Kyrie Eleison, then a very personal perspective on a tune by Richard the Lionheart, two more epic and choral songs are present on the album, “Magnificat” and “Agnus Dei”, then some typical and poetic guitar ballads from Vandelli, “La’awiyah” and “The Bleeding Trunk”, to end with a pair of songs more in keeping with Ataraxia‘s latest production, “When the Sea Turns Into Gold” and “Le nozze di Yis”.

More than one hour of music, Francesca, Vittorio and Giovanni singing all over the album, very nuanced musical landscapes from more liturgical and classical airs, to medieval, eastern, ethereal tunes, till contemporary ambiances. We are actually very proud of these recording!

The deluxe edition of the album will contain a DVD with several exclusive shootings from the beginning of Ataraxia’s career till nowadays (private shootings and rehearsals, concerts, short videos, etc….).
