The enigmatic and energizing music of Ian Anderson and his wonderful band Jethro Tull was a mainstay of the later British rock era. Gary Stroutsos and Gary Rollins have captured the flavor and beauty of the music in a new ensemble based in Seattle. Accompanied by Gary Stroutsos on wood flute, along with David Lanz on keys, Keith Lowe on bass, and David Revelli on drums, guitarist/singer Gary Rollins delivers his arrangements of this marvelous work. Also on the disc is a great presentation of Matt Molloy's "Music of the Seals" and originals by the team of Stroutsos, Rollins, and Lanz.
