In anticipation for the Gutter Twins' debut, and following up an excellent album, Greg Dulli and the Twilight Singers released A Stitch in Time in late 2006 on iTunes, which did well enough for One Little Indian to issue the EP in physical form a few months later in the UK and in January of the following year in the US. Though the two songs with the former Screaming Tree Mark Lanegan (who had been touring as a guest to the band for a while by then) are covers (including New Zealand's Fat Freddy's Drop "Flashback"), the way the singers' voices, both rough with cigarettes and acceptance, work together, especially on the darkly pulsating version of Massive Attack's "Live with Me," promises something spectacular to come on their original material. The longing present in their voices becomes a nearly tangible being, subject to the same suffering that everyone else is, and as the guitars howl in the background, there's a sense of foreboding danger in the request, "I've been thinking about you baby; come live with me." Dulli's work with Joseph Arthur on "Sublime" is good, too, showing off his softer, less anguished side, and the originals, "The Lure Would Prove Too Much" and "They Ride," reflect the two types of songs, the sweeter, reflective ballad and the driving, carnal rock, that were found on Powder Burns. At this point, Dulli has already proven his versatility and immense talent as a musician, but that just means A Stitch in Time is a gift that you should be grateful to receive.

This is very much a state of the art essay in studio technique, without substituting substance for style. Oregon in the Pacific theater during the Spanish American War) and played bones, danced buck and wing, and sang. Xavier Kurt Naidoo (born October 2, 1971 in Mannheim, Germany) is a German singer and songwriter of mixed Tamil Indian South African descent, who sings in German and occasionally in English. He is known for his soulful voice and has collaborated with several famous artists such as the Wu-Tang Clan's RZA, Deborah Cox and 3-P's Sabrina Setlur, along with the Swiss artist Stress. Many of his lyrics show his deep Christian beliefs.
He sings in a number of styles, including soul, R&B and hip hop. His most famous releases include "Ich kenne nichts", "20,000 Meilen", "Soul on Fire", "Dieser Weg", "Danke" and "Sie sieht mich nicht", which was featured on the German release of the film soundtrack for Asterix. Naidoo's popularity has massively increased since he joined groups like Söhne Mannheims, and Brothers Keepers and the charity project Zeichen der Zeit in the early 2000s. The first Album was only released in the USA and is called "Seeing is believing", but he was most successful with the 1998 released album "Nicht von dieser Welt". It reached in #1 Germany, #5 in Austria and #12 in Switzerland. He gained major success with the 2002 released album "Zwischenspiel - Alles für den Herrn". The most successful album was released in 2005, entitled "Telegramm für X". The German singer is planning a new album called "Alles kann besser werden". It will be released in October 2009. It is rumoured that Dutch artist Chris Berens will provide the cover art for the album. Naidoo is a collector and friend of Berens.

The Enkindels were the poppier, later form of the much-loved hardcore band Enkindel. Some people compared them to Rocket From The Crypt. That really wasn't accurate, however. If you go back and listen the sound of The Enkindels, it follows a natural progression from the later Some Assembly Required era material. These guys were The Hives before The Hives. A bit misunderstood in Louisville. A tongue in cheek Rock-N-Roll attitude that was lost on most local folks.

The music originated instinctively whilst being played live. There was no concept for the composition before, only a kaleidoscope of sounds stemming from the given instruments. The pictures and images which were shown on a white screen using a videobeamer had an inspiring effect on the birth of the composition

Le Orme ("The Footprints") is an Italian psychedelic and progressive rock band formed in 1966 in Marghera (Venice).
Their first record was for the tiny Car Juke Box label, in 1968.
They earned two gold albums, a discography critic award, an England Tour. Le Orme's most famous work, the concept album Felona e Sorona, was issued in English in collaboration with Peter Hammill of Van der Graaf Generator.
Le Orme's last three works (Il fiume, Elementi and L'infinito) show a return to a classic progressive sound, and form somewhat of a trilogy pivoting on the "becoming" of the human being.

John Dawson "Johnny" Winter III (born 23 February 1944) is an American blues guitarist, singer and producer.
Johnny and Edgar Winter were nurtured at an early age by their parents in their musical pursuits. Johnny Winter is known for his southern blues and rock and roll style, as well as his physical appearance. Both he and his brother were born with albinism.

Ace of Base is a pop band from Gothenburg, Sweden, comprising Ulf Ekberg (Buddha) and siblings Jonas Berggren (Joker) and Jenny Berggren. They released their debut album in 1993 and went on to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide, topping the charts with hits such as "All That She Wants" and "The Sign". Following the formal departure of former member Malin "Linn" Berggren in 2007, the trio have recently been playing gigs in Europe and Asia, and plan to release their fifth studio album in 2009.
