Édouard Berlon est un séducteur impénitent, qui vit chez son oncle Théodose, avec sa belle-sœur Pilou, son frère Guillaume, et la bonne Olga. Un jour, il tombe amoureux d'Hélène, la femme d'un riche industriel, guère habituée à tant de fantaisie. Elle se laissera séduire, mais sans lendemain, de toute manière Édouard est déjà occupé par d'autres conquêtes…
(The man who is nimbly scampering over the rooftops of Paris, pursued by an angry husband, is Edouard Berlon, an oversexed joker who just cannot help loving women and being loved in return. He finds sanctuary at the home of his brother Guillaume, an artist who often employs Edouard as a model. Edouard’s carefree Casanova existence could have carried on in this vein forever had he not met Hélène Laroche, a beautiful young woman who is unhappily married to a dull industrialist. At first, Hélène believes that her amorous adventure with Edouard will be a short-lived affair that will do no harm to anyone. How wrong she is…)
