VanDyke SecureFX v3.1.4

VanDyke SecureFX v3.1.4 | Win32 | Size: 7.24MB

SecureFX meets your evolving file transfer needs with a single application that lets you choose between SFTP using an encrypted SSH2 connection for secure transfers, or standard FTP for nonsecure transfers. It has a simple Explorer-like interface, so it's easy to learn and use while offering powerful automation capabilities for unattended, secure file transfers.

SecureFX makes it easier than ever to perform secure file transfers, whether you use the new drag-and-drop capabilities to transfer files by dragging or pasting to Windows Explorer and other applications or take advantage of SecureFX automation features for unattended file transfers.

SecureFX 3.1 uses a cryptographic library that complies with FIPS 140-2 cryptography requirements, offers improved authentication with X.509 digital certificates, adds the ability to easily launch multiple sessions, and improves SSH agent functionality.

New for SecureFX 3.1

FIPS 140-2 support: SecureFX now has an administrative option to run in "FIPS Mode". When this option is set, SecureFX uses a FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic library and only allows FIPS-approved algorithms.

Enhanced support for X.509 certificate authentication: X.509 certificate forwarding is now supported directly as well as through a CAPI store. SecureFX also supports forwarding through the public-key agent, which means that re-authentication is automatic when connecting to another machine using the same X.509 certificate.

Activator support for SSH agent functionality: If Activator is running, re-authentication is automatic even if SecureFX has been closed.

Multi-session launch: Folders and multiple selected sessions can be connected from the Connect dialog.

Key Features

* Enhanced drag and drop: SecureFX allows you to drag and drop (or copy and paste) files to and from Windows Explorer, the desktop, and other applications (e.g., WinZip), letting you transfer files more easily.
* Integration with SecureCRT®: SecureFX and SecureCRT work together better than ever. The two programs can share the global options, session options, and the host key database so you only need to perform operations like setting application defaults, sessions settings, or accepting a server's host key once.
* Multi-file transfers: Support for resuming multiple-file transfers. All remaining files in the transfer list are now completed after a broken connection is reestablished.
* Improved remote editing: The file being edited is uploaded to the remote server each time the file is saved on the local machine. This is a global option called "Upload when the file is saved in the editor".
* Enhanced file permission tools: Ability to change permissions on multiple files at once has been added. When connected to VShell® for Windows version 2.2 or higher, the Properties dialog for the remote file or folder has a Security tab that allows ACL permissions to be viewed.
