OrangeCD Suite is the Windows application designed to help you organize, maintain and catalog your music collection. OrangeCD can catalog all media types, including Audio CD, DVD, vinyl, tapes and MP3 files. Its intuitive and compresensive user interface allows you to browse and manage your collection as easy as clicking links and using Back and Forward buttons, so it feels much like a conventional web browser. OrangeCD supports online services such as FreeDB and Amazon.com, so you can catalog your CD collection with virtually no typing. To add a new album on a CD, you just need to insert a CD. OrangeCD downloads all relevant information from the Internet. OrangeCD provides a comprehensive set of fields, including custom fields, album covers, lyrics, personal notes and links to the web pages related to the artist. There are several ways of finding a specific album in the database. You can navigate from the top, expading the folders until you reach the album level, or you can run a search query and receive the list of albums at once. The full-text search feature allows you to find references to the person or subject of interest in all of the database. For music enthusiasts who wish to exchange their swap lists, OrangeCD provides HTML reporting features. No HTML knowledge is necessary to create HTML pages with the catalog of your collection and publish it to the web. OrangeCD stores the data in a compact database, so it is easy to move the collection to a different computer or make backup. The set of plug-ins allows you to convert all or parts of your existing music collection to and from the popular formats, including cdplayer.ini, local FreeDB, HTML and plain text format.
