The pop influences of the 70s is especially notable in the title song, sharply sung by Lulu. The fun house sequences are the best thing in the film and on the score and for the first time, actually the only time during all of Barry's work for the James Bond movies, he gets a chance to write in the Mickey-Mousing tradition. The old Barry brass-action-style is heard in the latter part of "Getting the Bullet", but the real action is taking part in "Let's Go Get 'Em". The only big "fault" of the score is that the it draws too heavily on it's main theme. But the jazz version of it, written in the best big band tradition, is so good that it mustn't be forgotten. Likewise is "Goodnight Goodnight" with it's soft and tender atmosphere.
