My comments: this file was ripped from Originals SH 836 CD rather than the MCA Classics CD image above. There are (to date) 13 different recordings of Walter conducting Mahler's 4th Symphony (according to the Bruno Walter discography webpage). Some reviews have called this particular performance absolutely wonderful, except for the soprano. What do you all think?

I apologise in advance for the poor audio; the digital remastering has removed most of the original radio static and tape hiss, but it still pales in comparison to some of the Furtwangler, Klemperer or even other Walter recordings in terms of quality. Still, I hope you enjoy it. Also, on the CD there is Walter conducting Strauss's Don Juan (BPO) (not included in this file). If anybody wants it, I can upload…
