Abe Rabade Trio - Once (2016)

The last work of musician compostelano entitled 'Once' and compose many topics as the name of the disc. But four subjects, among which are 'Con alma' Dizzy Gillespie and 'Smole gets in your eyes' Jerome Kern, the rest are own songs, where Rábade deepens the introspective jazz, very Central European, almost minimalist, which characterized. Abe Rábade on this album devotes an issue to the memory and the memory of the great Paco de Lucia, entitled '11 Paco '(remember here that in 1994 Jorge Pardo, Chano Dominguez, Javier Colina and Tino di Geraldo they released an album titled '10 de Paco ', with songs signed by the legendary guitarist gaditano), which is both the best song on the album as one of the most deeply felt pieces around the disappearance of paco de Lucia. And only for this, the longest cedé piece, and worth the drive.
