To Lefty From Willie is an affectionate and thoroughly enjoyable salute to Lefty Frizzell, featuring stellar versions of a number of Lefty's best-known songs – including "Always Late (With Your Kisses)," "She's Gone, Gone, Gone," "I Never Go Around Mirrors," and "That's the Way Love Goes" – plus revealing takes on a number of obscurities from the influential vocalist's catalog. Nelson is respectful without being overly reverential, giving his own spin to each song without abandoning their honky tonk roots.

Genius Loves Company is a 2004 album by Ray Charles, consisting of duets between Charles and musicians. The contributing artists were personally chosen by Ray Charles. It was the last album he completed before his death. It debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. At the Grammys on February 13, 2005, it won eight awards, including Album of the Year and Record of the Year for the song "Here We Go Again".

The fifteen tracks carefully selected here come from popular music pieces owned by Sony/BMG Music. Ten of these wonderful pieces are first Japanese SACD for this project, and these particular tracks by the world famous artists such The Alan Parsons Project, Boz Scaggs, Roger Waters, Karla Bonoff, and Sarah McLachlan are a world exclusive on SACD only in this series.

Cale's influence on Clapton and many of today's artists cannot be understated. To honor JJ's legacy, a year after his passing, Clapton gathered a group of like-minded friends and musicians for "Eric Clapton & Friends - The Breeze (An Appreciation of JJ Cale)". With performances by Clapton, Mark Knopfler, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty, Derek Trucks and Don White, the album features 16 beloved JJ Cale songs and is named for the 1972 single "Call Me The Breeze".

Stardust is the twenty-second studio album by Willie Nelson released in 1978 that spans the genres of pop, jazz, and country music. Its ten songs consist entirely of pop standards that Nelson picked from among his favorites. Nelson asked Booker T. Jones, who was his neighbor in Malibu at the time, to arrange a version of "Moonlight in Vermont". Impressed with Jones's work, Nelson asked him to produce the entire album. Nelson's decision to record such well-known tracks was controversial among Columbia executives because he had distinguished himself in the outlaw country genre. Recording of the album took only ten days. In 1979, Nelson won a Grammy Award for Best Male Country Vocal Performance for the song "Georgia on My Mind". Stardust was on the Billboard's Country Album charts for ten years - from its release until 1988.

Willie Nelson broke through into superstardom in the mid-'70s, but before that he penned one of his finest works: this often-overlooked 1971 concept album.
