Alive III is a live album released by the American hard rock band Kiss in 1993. It was certified gold in 1994. It is the third installment of the Alive series. The recording of Alive III took place over multiple dates (in Cleveland, Detroit and Indianapolis) during the band's 1992 tour in support of Revenge.

Beethoven's nine symphonies were recorded by Herbert von Karajan in 1961-1962 with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra — of which he became permanent conductor in 1955 to replace Wilhelm Furtwängler — and released on the DG label in 1963. 1963 October 15, Herbert von Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic played Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the inaugural concert of the Berlin Philharmonie.

This Columbia LP features Miles Davis' Sextet (with John Coltrane and Cannonball Adderley) and the Thelonious Monk Quartet (with Pee Wee Russell) at the 1958 Newport Jazz Festival; their rapid version of "Ah Leu Cha" is thunderous and "Straight No Chaser" swings like mad.

The Movie Song Album is a 1966 studio album by Tony Bennett. The album consists of songs from films, opening with the theme from The Oscar, in which Bennett had recently appeared. With this project of such high quality of song material and collaborators, he was to describe the album in his autobiography as his "all time favorite record".

Love Gun was Kiss' fifth studio album in three years (and seventh release overall, peaking at number four on Billboard), and proved to be the last release that the original lineup played on. By 1977, Kiss merchandise was flooding the marketplace (lunch boxes, makeup kits, comic books, etc.), and it would ultimately lead to a Kiss backlash in the '80s.

10th anniversary reimagining for Sunny Sweeney’s “Provoked” and UK tour announced.Sunny Sweeney, the country and americana singer-songwriter, who hails from Texas but is currently based in Nashville, is no stranger to music fans this side of the Atlantic. Since the impact of her debut in 2006 with the acclaimed “Heartbreaker’s Hall of Fame” and attendant radio coverage from Whisperin’ Bob Harris amongst others her progress has been followed with interest. Sweeney has just announced the 10th-anniversary release of her album “Provoked”. With a new name “Still Provoked”, the record will be out on 30th August 2024 via Thirty Tigers and will be available for the very first time on vinyl.

The album, cheekily titled They Want My Soul (Deluxe More Soul Edition), includes the original 2014 album and 11 bonus tracks. One of the founders of the Swiss synth pop band Yello, Boris Blank empties his solo vaults on Electrified, an archival set that came into being with some help from online crowd-funding. The 40 tracks here are mostly instrumental, some of them simple sketches, while others sound complete. Blank's trademarks gurgling synths, deep bass, Latin rhythms are all present, and while this quirky, infectious set will likely please all as cheeky audio wallpaper, Yello fans will get the most out of all these peeks behind the curtain. Ambitious fans who missed the boat might seek out the original, crowd-funded special edition which adds more music and artwork.
