This book has two main purposes. The first is to provide a brief introduction to economics and more specifically to what economists refer to as 'the market process', how it has evolved, and creates the social order. As we do so we discuss the impossibility of Socialist/Communist centralized economic planning as shown by Ludwig von Mises, the damage to the social order done by various government interventions and regulations and more. The other main purpose is to motivate software professionals to help spread an understanding of economics through the upper ranks of their field as a way to help bring about socioeconomic change.
