Jesse Adelman (guitar + vocals) and Bradley Albert (keyboards) of The Telephones met at Brown University, honing their musical chops in a shared basement before moving to Brooklyn, NY in 2001. Jesse worked to cultivate his natural ability for writing soulful, witty, southern-inflected indie rock, and the two have been consistently recording music ever since.
Bandari music stems from Iran's south, around the Persian Gulf region and was used by sailors and harbour-workers for centuries. It is a rhythmic type of dance music played fast and slow using quarter tone that can be vocalized and played. It is played mostly in weddings and other celebrations. The name bandari means 'of the port people' and comes from the Persian word bandar meaning port.
Genesis could be construed as a band of two periods, with the progressive rock foundations of the Peter Gabriel era, changing to later poppier years, fronted by Phil Collins.They were formed in 1967 while Peter Gabriel (vocals) and Tony Banks (keyboards) were at school together. With additional members Anthony Phillips (guitar), Mike Rutherford (bass & guitar) and Chris Stewart (drums) and with the production help of fellow Charterhouse ex-student Jonathan King, they recorded their first album From Genesis to Revelation in 1969. It didn't sell too well but they kept going.
In the early 1960s, a bunch of boys from Cambridge began jamming together, and out of those encounters were born the early incarnations of Pink Floyd. More than 40 years and 150 million album sales later, the band headlined the biggest global music event in history – Live 8 – and was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame. You could say the Floyd has staying power.

Samuel David Erwin was born on St. Paddy's Day, March 17,1951 in Columbia,S.C. How appropriate for a young lad with Irish blood flowing through his veins. He began playing and studying guitar at the age of 14 and soon was playing with local rythm and blues and beach music bands. Early musical influences included the Beatles, Steve Cropper, Jimi Hendrix, Terry Kath, Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Curtis Mayfield, Wes Montgomery, John McLaughlin and Miles Davis. The variety of these artists would be paramount in the developement of Samuel David's ability to be comfortable and excel in various styles of musical expression.
