Fans squeal in Russia's Pig Olympics
Piglets push a ball during the "pig-ball" event at the Pig Olympics in Moscow. Russia's annual "Pig Olympics" attracted thousands of festivalgoers from across Moscow over the weekend.
Altogether, 12 piglets competed in the "Pig Olympics," in sports such as racing, swimming and a soccer derivative called "pigball."
The pigs were representing Russia, Ukraine and even South Africa.
Participants could bet on the competitions. Anybody walking away with a big purse was urged not to make a pig of themselves. (Compiled from Mainichi and wire reports)
