It was originally made as two separate ‘featurettes’ – but the style and themes were very similar and so they were released as one film. KONKURS is important as the first work of a world-renowned director because it clearly shows the beginnings of the style and pre-occupations that became prominent in many of Forman’s subsequently acclaimed films including ‘Loves of a Blonde’ and ‘Amadeus’.
Not only is KONKURS very assured for a first film but it is also the debut film of Miroslav Ondricek (cinematographer of ‘If’ and ‘Amadeus’) and Ivan Passer (director of ‘Intimate Lighting’ and ‘Cutter’s Way’).

Instruction: After downloading all files, please use HJ Split to join .001 .002 .003 etc files. When you join all of them, you'll have 8 rar files ( 7x514 Mb + 1x177 Mb ). When you extract these 8 files, you'll have the whole DVD folder, which you can watch on the computer, or burn to a blank DVD-5, using DVD-Video option in Nero.
