Alice, une jeune portugaise s'évade d'un hopital psychiatrique où elle est enfermée sous les ordres de son beau-père qui compte ainsi lui ravir son héritage. En route vers la France elle sera victime d'un routier qu'elle tuera pour se défendre. Quelques instants aprés ce meurtre elle rencontre Bernie, un jeune boxeur, qui prendra soin d'elle, allant jusqu'à la cacher aux yeux de la police et des détectives à la solde de son beau-père. Il se prépare au titre de champion du monde…

After working with such directors as Hossein, Ciampi and Clement, he began directing short films until the late 1960s when he made his feature film debut. Boisset frequently contributes to the scripts he shoots and is known for his fast-paced action-adventures and his social and political thrillers (Here, the world of boxing).)
