Legendary cult director Jesús (Jess) Franco stars in (as well as directs) this 1970's Euro-sleaze drama as a down-on-his-luck private detective in Puerto Rico who is hired by a woman to take compromising photos of her husband, a notorious nightclub owner. After he finishes the job, he finds himself hauled in by the police, who inform him that the nightclub owner has been murdered–and that he is the prime suspect. Franco turns in a good performance here as the detective and he's aided enormously by the very attractive female leads, Martine Stedil and his real-life wife and frequent leading lady, Lina Romay, who also does a couple of cabaret routines in between the nude sex scenes. With regular supporting actors like, Paul Muller, Eric Falk & Monica Swinn, and with the added addition of a far better script than is usual in many of his films, this is a worthy addition to any Jess Franco fan's collection.
