Justine è una studentessa, durante il Giorno del Ringraziamento decide di rimanere nel campus universitario ormai lasciato deserto dai sui compagni che hanno preferito tornare a casa per le feste. Una notte mentre si trova al supermarket, viene notata e presa di mira da una ragazza, che fa parte di una gang che seleziona e sceglie le sue vittime, soprannominandole: "Kristy". Da qui inizia l'inseguimento della povera e spaventata Justine che rimasta sola e indifesa diventa una facile preda. Nel campus parte una caccia spietata all'ultimo respiro, Justine presa dal panico cerca in tutti modi di fuggire e nascondersi ma con scarsi risultati. A questo punto si rende conto che l'unico modo per sopravvivere è superare le sue paure e affrontare il nemico, per provare a trasformarsi da preda a cacciatrice.

Storyline
College girl Justine works hard to support herself at Bryce College, where she studies. During Thanksgiving, her boyfriend Aaron goes home and Justine has plans to stay on campus with her roommate, Nicole. Out of the blue, Nicole's father invites her to Aspen, while Justine remains in the dorm. One night, Justine drives to a convenience store to buy supplies and meets Violet, who threatens her. Shaken, Justine returns to campus, where she soon finds herself being hunted down by Violet and three hoodlums from a cult. Justine has to fight to survive
