McMurphy's and Nurse Ratched's battle of wills escalates rapidly. When McMurphy's card games win away everyone's cigarettes, Ratched confiscates the cigarettes and rations them out. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a 1975 American drama film directed by Miloš Forman and based on the 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey. The 1963 stage adaptation of the book is also entitled One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
The film was the second to win all five major Academy Awards, (Best Picture, Actor in Lead Role, Actress in Lead Role, Director, and Screenplay) following It Happened One Night in 1934, an accomplishment not repeated until 1991 by The Silence of the Lambs.
The film is #20 on the American Film Institute's 100 Years… 100 Movies list. It was shot at Oregon State Hospital in Salem, Oregon, which was the setting of the novel

Vol au-dessus d'un nid de coucou (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest) est un film américain de 1975 réalisé par Miloš Forman et interprété par Jack Nicholson dans le rôle de McMurphy et Louise Fletcher dans le rôle de Miss Ratched. Adapté d'un roman de Ken Kesey, paru en 1962. Le terme cuckoo désigne en anglais l'oiseau coucou et une personne mentalement dérangée, à l'image des patients de l'hôpital psychiatrique de l'intrigue.
Le distributeur français n'a donc pas souhaité reprendre le titre de la traduction française originale du livre, qui était La Machine à brouillard. Le livre fut au moment de la sortie du film réédité avec le titre de celui-ci.
Randle P. McMurphy se fait interner pour échapper à la prison. Il va être touché par la détresse et la solitude des patients. Très rapidement, il comprend que l'infirmière en chef, Mlle Ratched, a imposé des règles strictes et entend bien les faire respecter. Il décide alors de révolutionner ce petit monde, plutôt au départ par jeu.
À mesure que son influence s'étend sur les patients - dont certains vont mieux de ce fait - se met en place une mécanique administrative et médicale qui finira par briser sa volonté au moyen d'une lobotomie le laissant végétatif ; mais il aura cependant eu le temps de faire des émules avant de subir ce traitement.

Recovery Volumes (.rev)
Recovery volumes or .rev files are special files which can be created by WinRAR/RAR and allow you to reconstruct missing and damaged files in a volume set. They can
only be used with multi-volume archives.
This feature may be useful for backups or, for example, when you post a multivolume archive to a newsgroup and some of the subscribers did not receive some files. Reposting recovery volumes instead of usual volumes may reduce the total number of files to repost.
Each recovery volume is able to reconstruct one missing RAR volume. For example, if you have 30 volumes and 3 recovery volumes, you are able to reconstruct any 3 missing volumes. If the number of .rev files is less than a number of missing volumes, reconstructing is impossible. The total number of usual and recovery volumes must not exceed 255 and the number of recovery volumes must be less than the number of RAR volumes.
WinRAR reconstructs missing and damaged volumes either when clicking on .rev file, or when using rc command or automatically, if it cannot locate the next volume and finds the required number of .rev files when unpacking.
You may use the "Recovery volumes" option in the Archive name and parameters dialog or a similar option also appears in the Protect archive command to create recovery volumes. In the command line mode you may do it with -rv switch or rv command.
Original copies of damaged volumes are renamed to *.bad before reconstruction. For example, volname.part03.rar will be renamed to volname.part03.rar.bad.
