Eserciti di cacciatori di streghe combatterono in tutto il mondo per secoli contro il loro nemico disumano fino a quando Kaulder (Vin Diesel), un valoroso guerriero, riuscì a uccidere l'onnipotente Regina delle streghe, decimando i suoi seguaci. Poco prima di morire però, la Regina gli lanciò una maledizione, condannandolo alla sua stessa immortalità e separandolo per sempre dall'amata moglie e figlia. Oggi, Kaulder è l'ultimo della sua stirpe, e per secoli ha dato la caccia alle streghe, consumandosi nel desiderio di poter riabbracciare i suoi cari perduti da tempo. Tuttavia, all'insaputa di Kaulder, la Regina delle streghe è tornata in vita e cerca vendetta nei confronti del suo assassino, dando così inizio a un'epica battaglia nella quale è in gioco la sopravvivenza della razza umana.
