A documentary about glorious DP Mark Lee Ping-bin who works with those big names Hsiao-hsien Hou and Kar Wai Wong,to name a few.

Here's a real movie-lovers movie, and no other film at the festival has as many gorgeous images. That's because they were all shot by cinematographer Mark Lee Ping-bin, one of the top cinematographers in the world, and this is a documentary about him, his work and his philosophy. Lee is best known for his work as Taiwanese master Hou Hsiao-hsien's right-hand man, but he has also worked with Wong Kar-Wai ("In the Mood for Love"). He's also worked extensively in France (Hou's "Flight of the Red Balloon," with Juliette Binoche), Vietnam ("The Vertical Ray of the Sun") and Japan (the recent "Air Doll"). The documentary is loaded with clips, so bring a notepad to jot down films for later Netflixing; other than that, just drink in the images. You'll never look at films the same way again.
