This is the documentary that started it all back in 2003. Ocean Wonderland 3D was the first large format film shot entirely in digital using two Sony HDW F-900 HDCAM 24P cameras, rigged inside a specially designed 3D underwater housing. Shot almost entirely with natural light, Ocean wonderland 3D shows you the underwater world as it actually is. Shooting on HDCAM has another advantage: the 3D image quality can be checked right after the shoot on the boat itself. A workstation was built aboard the vessel, allowing the team to check the rushes in full resolution projected onto a screen in 3D. Accordng to the synopses, viewers will experience “a stunning visual and sensorial diving adventure beneath the waves to the pulsating heart of the oceans: the coral reefs”.
All three titles were directed by Jean-Jacques Mantello who, since 1986, has been in charge of over 30 3D projects worldwide. He is also an experienced diver, the perfect person to direct 3D underwater documentaries!
Each documentary is sold separately and I think it would have been a good idea to bundle the three titles together because choosing one of the three titles could be tricky. Each 3D Blu-Ray includes a 2D Blu-Ray version too which you could have course give to a friend.
If you are a 3DTV owner and have a space in your limited 3D Blu-Ray collection for a high quality documentary which was produced before the 3D boom (and therefor not something that has been rushed to market) you could do alot worst than buying these.

Nello stesso disco la versione Blu-ray 2D e Blu-ray 3D. È possibile vedere la versione 2D su tutti i lettori Blu Ray, mentre la versione 3D potrà essere vista esclusivamente sui lettori Blu Ray d’ultima generazione. La visione in 3D richiede un HDTV abilitato al 3D, un lettore Blu-ray abilitato al 3D e gli occhialini 3D (non inclusi nel presente disco).
