When a mercenary ronin (Tetsuro Tamba) gets caught up in the sleazy world of corruption and forced prostitution in old Edo’s pleasure quarter, the stage is set for equal parts gratuitous softcore sex and sword battles rife with copious amounts of blood spatter.
Shiro, un ronin nihiliste sans foi ni loi doublé d’un sabreur hors pair, passe son temps à trucider ses ennemis. Trimbalant son mal-être, il tente de se suicider en se jetant d’un pont au cours d’une de ses nombreuses rixes sanguinaires. A son étonnement il se voit réanimé par le corps chaud et doux des prostituées du clan Bohachi, contrôlant le quartier des plaisir de la capitale, Yoshiwara. Ce clan aux stratégies machiavéliques et aux règles de vie des plus curieuses, se propose d’embaucher Shiro afin de débarrasser la ville de la concurrence déloyale de la prostitution qui fleurit librement. Mais ce dernier comprend bien vite qu’il est l’objet de manipulations…
