New General Features:
1. ZEMAX now has a single file backup and restore capability. The .ZAR (ZEMAX archive) file contains the .zmx, .cfg. and .ses files plus all glass catalogs, coating files, CAD files, user-defined surfaces, UDA files etc used by the design. This makes backing up vital design data much easier, and also makes it easier to transfer projects from one machine to another. The new capability is accessed via File…Backup/Restore Archive file and does not replace saving to .zmx files.
2. The folder used by ZEMAX for its own temporary files is now user-definable. This is of benefit to those users who work in highly secure IT environments.
3. The following vendors have updated the data files that are distributed with ZEMAX:
