AdGuard 1.3.0 Rev.2

AdGuard 1.3.0 Rev.2 | MacOSX | 78 MB

AdGuard is an application that will help you surf the Internet without constantly being disturbed by annoying advertisements. The utility ensures protection against aggressive ads, as well as malicious and phishing sites. A malicious site can expose your system to virus attacks. A phishing site can expose you to the theft of your personal data such as usernames, passwords or credit card information. AdGuard includes filters, which are meant to protect your system from all these unwanted situations. It also includes tools that will block video ads, rich media ads and many other types of advertisements.

AdGuard is compatible with popular web browsers such as: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Safari, Google Chrome, as well as other less known ones. After installing this application, it will automatically be launched at system start-up. It comes with an intuitive user-interface, which allows you to adjust various settings and protection options. You are able to set different levels of protection for your computer such as: minimal, optimal, high or maximum. Additionally, you are allowed to activate or deactivate various protection filters. Briefly, AdGuard is a powerful application that efficiently protects your system from a large number of threats. It offers a wide variety of protection tools, which help you surf the Internet in a safe manner.

Macs and Apple laptops are quite safe to use, but when it comes to ad blockers, Macs experience real problems. Already existing solutions do not consider specifics of the OS X. That greatly influence the stability of work in Safari browser, and these ad blocking extensions fail to do their work properly, especially video ads were an issue. New Adguard lets you fully enjoy web surfing without any distractions. Watch those videos you want to watch, and not video ads, on YouTube, Twitch or any other website. Look at photos of your friends and not at endless banners on Facebook and other social networks. Adguard gives you freedom of choice and saves your nerves. It works perfectly with all browsers as it was developed specially for use on OS X.

Why is it worth to install Adguard:
• Remove absolutely all types of ads not only in Chrome, but also in apps on your computer.
• Protect personal data: Adguard will take care of all trackers that try to spy on you on the net.
• All the malicious and dangerous websites will be blocked.
• Adguard will also warn you about websites with questionable reputation.
• Chrome is rightfully considered to be on of the fastest browsers, and with Adguard it will work even faster.

Why is Adguard better than other adblock solutions ?
Common ad blockers are implemented as browser extensions, while Adguard works on a network level and is not subject to all limitations which a browser impose on its extensions.

Blocking of ad and tracking requests
The cornerstone of any ad blocker’s work is blocking of requests to ad materials on a web page (banners, scripts).

Cosmetic processing of the page
In order to hide the broken and blocked elements the additional cosmetic processing of pages with CSS is needed.

Website HTML code filtering
Adguard works on a network level, so the most of ad elements are cut from the code even before the page is loaded to the browser.

Works in all browsers
Firefox, Chrome, Yandex Browser, Internet Explorer, whichever browser you are using, Adguard will work equally well in all of them.

Protection from malicious ads
Adguard checks each network query through the database that contains more than 1 500 000 phishing and malicious websites.

Ad filtering in applications
Are you annoyed by ads in Skype, uTorrent and other applications? Just enable their filtering in Adguard settings.
