Over the past ten years, the team at Toontrack ® Music produced and made available in the industry of the drum and percussion instruments heard in numerous hit films, TV shows, video games, live performances and platinum albums. We recorded numerous libraries with hundreds of the best drums and cymbals with a total area of 200 + gigs of custom content, derived from 1000000 plus audio files ….. ….. still, it was 100% acoustic.
Its 2009, so we felt it was time to Plug-In, flip the switch and provide a completely new and fresh collection of drum kits.

Lead designer Richard Devine is an award winning electronic artist who is among several elite pioneer in modern music. He is a master of synthesis, sequencing of the virtuoso, and a legend among the electronic underground for its seamless integration of hardware and software technologies as a result of the tireless and improvised live set. He is also revered for his countless contributions to the sound design in many of the most popular hardware and software synthesizers, video games and advertising for the last decade. He was tapped by numerous multi-platinum and underground legends for remixes and the sound of the project. This is key to note that for some records, Richard helped the studio Josh Kay of Phonecia / Scheme Records. Their talents were satisfied with our team Ace manufacturers / designers - Brad Bowden and Mattias Eklund - the dynamic force, which oversees all the beloved Toontracks EZX ® and SDX ™ library. The result of this collaboration is the dream of a strong, expressive and inspiring set of electronic drum kits.
