Keil RealView MDK + Keil RealView Real-Time Library

Keil RealView Microcontroller Development Kit 3.11 + Keil RealView Real-Time Library 3.10 | 78 MB

Keil development tools for ARM7, ARM9, and Cortex-M3 microcontrollers are easy to learn and use, yet powerful enough for the most demanding embedded applications.

Benefits of Keil/ARM Development Tools
  • µVision integrates a Device Database that automatically configures tool options.
  • The industry-standard RealView C/C++ Compiler creates the smallest, fastest application code and includes a complete ISO run-time library with C++ STL support.
  • The on-line help system incorporated into µVision provides extensive information and helps you get up-to-speed.
  • Numerous example programs show how easy it is to configure ARM devices and get started quickly.
  • The µVision IDE helps you create robust, sophisticated embedded applications.
  • The µVision Debugger accurately simulates a complete microcontroller including peripherals and enables application testing without target hardware.
  • FLASH programming algorithms for standard microcontrollers and external FLASH devices are included.
  • The ULINK USB-JTAG Adapter enables FLASH downloads and on-chip debugging.
  • The RealView RL-ARM enables networking, communication, and real-time software.
  • Third-Party Utilities extend the functions and capabilities of µVision.
  • µVision even supports the GNU Compiler.
The RealView Real-Time Library is designed to solve several common challenges for embedded developers including:
  • Multitasking (which allows you to manage several jobs or tasks on a single CPU).
  • Real-Time Control (which allows you to configure tasks so that operations execute within a defined period of time).
  • Inter-Task Communication (which allows tasks in your system to communicate with each other).
  • Internet Connection via Ethernet or Serial (Modem).
  • Embedded Web Server including CGI scripting.
  • E-mail Notification via SMTP.
In addition, the RealView Real-Time Library includes several drivers that interface the RTX Real-Time Kernel to various communication interfaces:
  • CAN Interface
CAN Interface Hardware Layer Drivers are available for STMicroelectronics STR71x, STR73x, STR75x, and STR91x devices.
  • USB Device Interface
A USB Device Interface for standard Windows device classes is available for Philips LPC2000 devices.
While it is possible to implement an embedded program without using a real-time kernel, a proven kernel like RL-ARM saves time and makes software development easier.
