Barcode desk includes tools that not only create barcode images and print barcode labels but also allows the technician to verify the final printed barcode by scanning the image using a quality flatbed scanner and then using Barcode Reporter to analyse the X dimension, gain, structure and check characters for GS1-13, GS1-8, GS1-128, UPC-A and UPC-E symbols as well as Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Codabar, and Interleaved 2 of 5 symbols.
Barcode Desk is a package that contains the following applications:
Really Simple Barcodes - a barcode generator which can create graphic images of most common 1D and 2D barcodes in BMP, EPS, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF or WMF formats.
Really Simple Labels - a label design and print system, suitable for allergen labels, nutrition labels, barcode labels and cards and tickets from almost any data source.
Barcode Analyser 1D - a tool for analysing high-resolution images of printed 1D barcodes for the purpose of reporting on the quality and structure of the printed barcode.
Barcode Byte Reporter - takes input from a suitable USB or serial port barcode scanner and displays the byte pattern decoded by the scanner. Of particular value for testing the position of FNC1 characters in GS1-128 barcodes and message terminators in 2D symbols.
