Includes All of Me; Tenderly; What Is This Thing Called Love?; I'll Be Seeing You, and more. This is a largely unknown gem in Sarah Vaughan's discography. A group of trio performances recorded in 1961 for radio broadcast, the songs on this disk feature to-the-point, swinging renditions of standards such "I Cried for You," "Over the Rainbow," "Tenderly," "Summertime" and "Poor Butterfly." In fact, the disk gets through the 16 tunes in 43 minutes, but it leaves you wanting to hear more – the best possible compliment. Sarah's voice is light and well projected. The presence of Roland Hanna on piano is a bonus.
