Dave Matthews Band - The Central Park Concert (2003)
2xDVD9 | VIDEO_TS | MPEG-2 Video, NTSC 16:9 (720x480), 29.97fps, 8937kbps | DD 5.1, 448kbps; LPCM 2.0 | 92+77min | 6600+5200Mb
Rock | RCA 82876 57562 9 | rel: 2003 | covers

For anyone who has ever seen or even heard of Dave Matthews Band, this is a must own. This performance proves that DMB is one of the best live performances that money can buy. The performance starts out with "Don't Drink the Water," a very good song to start the energy of the concert with. The band does a very good job mixing the songs together for an easy transaction from one song to the next. The real start of the concert starts with the song "Ants Marching." This is in my opinion, the best version of the song.

Eaves - What Green Feels Like (2015)
Indie Rock, Folk | MP3 CBR 320 kbps | 00:50:54 | 116 MB
Label: Heavenly Recordings | Release Year: 2015

Beautifully wistful, emotionally powerful and lyrically astute Eaves’ debut album is tinged with a world-weary wisdom that belies his age. His delicate and haunting songs have an ageless quality which touch on his upbringing, dreams and death, and especially the desire to get from where he was to where he wants to be.

Various Artists - Beverly Hills Cop (Music From The Motion Picture Soundtrack) (1984)
Stage & Screen, Pop/Rock, Soundtrack | EAC Rip | FLAC, Tracks+CUE + LOG + Full Scans-300dpi (JPEG) | 39:17 Min | 262,82 Mb
Label: MCA Records (USA) | Released: 1985

An album which changed the way soundtrack albums were created was released this week in 1984, with the movie released the next day. Two million copies of this album were sold within a year of release, which is no surprise, given that it contained such hits as Patti LaBelle's "New Attitude," and Glenn Frey's "The Heat Is On," and Harold Faltermeyer's "Axel F." Another notable aspect of the recording is the small-print admission "Contains additional songs that are not in the film." In other words, this is more of a compilation than a soundtrack album per se. It didn't bother anybody, though.

Chumbawamba - Swingin' With Raymond (1995)
Rock | 1cd | EAC Rip | Flac + Cue + Log | covers
One Little Indian 841246 2 | rel: 1995 | 360Mb

As the bandmembers themselves call it, Swingin' With Raymond is the "Lovin' It record and the Loathin' It record." And, given that it's a double-CD set, that makes perfect sense, especially when the songs seem to split them up so perfectly. Of course, this being Chumbawamba, it would be asking too much to think there aren't touches of irony in the love songs, where Lou Watts' sweet voice soothes over acoustic guitar and arrangements that steer clear of the jagged.

A fantastic value collection of Carly Simon at her absolute best. The album that made her famous was No Secrets, which together wirh Anticipation and Playing Possum form the absolute peak of her songwriting and performing prowess. No songwriter, even at this truly great time, could surpass the honesty and intimacy of her lyrics, and any listener will find aspects of their own life in her songs. simply a genius.

Since Packed! (at least), each new record from the Pretenders has been hailed as Chrissie Hynde's return to form (praise that was thrown at Learning to Crawl, by the way), and it's hard not to resist to say the same of Viva el Amor!, the seventh studio album from the Pretenders. So, we won't say that, even though it may be true...

Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak (1976)
EAC | FLAC | Image (Cue&Log) ~ 253 Mb (incl 5%) | Mp3 (CBR320) ~ 117 Mb (incl 5%) | Scans included
Genre: Rock | Label: Vertigo | # 822 785-2 | Time: 00:36:20

Thin Lizzy found their trademark twin-guitar sound on 1975's Fighting, but it was on its 1976 successor, Jailbreak, where the band truly took flight. Unlike the leap between Night Life and Fighting, there is not a great distance between Jailbreak and its predecessor. If anything, the album was more of a culmination of everything that came before, as Phil Lynott hit a peak as a songwriter just as guitarists Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson pioneered an intertwined, dual-lead guitar interplay that was one of the most distinctive sounds of '70s rock, and one of the most influential. Lynott no longer let Gorham and Robertson contribute individual songs -- they co-wrote, but had no individual credits -- which helps tighten up the album, giving it a cohesive personality, namely Lynott's rough rebel with a heart of a poet.

A multi-faceted, modern Rock album. Sleeping Pulse is the name of the musical collaboration of Mick Moss (Antimatter) and the Portuguese Luís Fazendeiro (Painted Black). While Moss is solely concentrating on lyrics and vocal lines here, all music is penned by Fazendeiro. With their debut "Under The Same Sky", they create a multi-faceted, modern Rock album that deftly covers the range from a solid, progressive backbone to fragile acoustic passages, electronic elements and soulful string arrangements. It was mixed and mastered by Daniel Cardoso (Anathema), who gave the album a clear and nuanced, yet always vibrant sound...

The Beatles - Not Guilty

The Beatles - Not Guilty (1989) {Condor}
MP3 CBR 320kbps | RAR | 146mb
Genre: pop rock, rock'n'roll, classic rock

Not Guilty was a Beatles bootleg CD released in 1989 on Condor Records, allegedly pressed in Australia but the CD said it was made in Korea. This was one of the first boot CD's I bought way back then and while it did look like professionally made compact discs, if you looked at the CD through a light, there were a few pinholes through the metal within the disc itself. It had been said that this shows the inferiority of bootleg discs but it was just a disc that was not made as well as companies who had a bigger budget to use better material. Nonetheless, when it was possible to rip CD's, this was also one of the first I saved, in fear of the CD deteriorating.

Welcome to ZenTV. Since the mid-nineties and the groundbreaking Stealth parties at the Blue Note in Hoxton Square, Ninja has been almost as well respected for its engagement with visuals as it has for its audio. The two came together on this massive retrospective of almost a decade of experimentation, innovation, humour and weirdness. Let’s get the spec out of the way first. The ZenTV DVD has twice the capacity of a normal DVD, containing as it does 35 promo videos from the label, a fifteen minute audiovisual mix and a 30 minutes audio mix from Hexstatic. And as if that wasn’t enough, the DVD has a menu system which means you can watch the videos either in the order we intended, randomly, or chronologically from the oldest to the newest or the newest to the oldest. You can also look up any specific act and check out their videos and album art. Or just leave a gallery of some of Ninja’s finest covers running in the corner of the room as a kind of ambient art installation dahlink… Mwah.

Finisterre - Storybook (2001)
EAC Rip | FLAC (image+.cue+log) - 505 MB | MP3 CBR 320 kbps (LAME 3.93) - 182 MB | Covers - 28 MB
Genre: Progressive Rock | RAR 3% Rec. | Label: MoonJune Records (MJR002)

Drawing on the rich legacy of landmark 1970s Italian prog pioneers, Finisterre is a band that's always keen to experiment - exploring many different musical directions - while still managing to have established and maintain a unique and recognizable identity. Storybook documents Finisterre's first American concert, in the Summer of 1997, at Progfest. The music on their MoonJune debut is as adventurous and gripping as we've been led to expect from the band. The repertoire consists of often-extended versions of compositions from their first two well-received studio albums, "Finisterre" and "In Limine", plus a superb cover of PFM's anthem "Altaloma"...
