After a fairly long hiatus since 2008's And Winter Came, Enya returns with an album that was three and a half years in the making. "Echoes in Rain," the first single from the album, was released in October 2015 and has drawn comparisons with her best-known work, "Orinoco Flow." This record has the underlying theme of journeys, and fans of Enya will be pleased to hear that the Loxian language, devised by lyricist Roma Ryan for Enya's 2005 album Amarantine, makes a comeback on two songs on this album, both of which also focus on intergalactic and futuristic themes.
