Until recently a insider tip in the local jazz scene, the trio Julia Kadel is now pushing with his debut album "Trusting" confidently into the international spotlight. Julia Kadel is no musical Leisetreterin who revels only in well-sounds. Although poetry certainly plays a prominent role in her music, she also knows how to groove or unsure powerful shimmy through atonal realms. With their team partners, the German-Norwegian bassist Karl-Erik "Kalle" grandson man and the Dresden drummer Steffen Roth, is Kadel takes the liberty to interpret the rich store of tradition from classical to jazz to pop to their own taste.
