Woody Shaw - Song of Songs (1972) [Remastered 1997]
EAC rip | FLAC+CUE+LOG | Scans | 236 Mb(Incl. Recovery)
Genre ~ Post-Bop, Hard Bop, Trumpet Jazz | Label ~ Contemporary Records

This LP would be recommended if only for trumpeter Woody Shaw's autobiographical liner notes which definitively sum up both this recording and his career up to 1972. Four of Shaw's originals are interpreted by a sextet also including Emanuel Boyd on flute and tenor, keyboardist George Cables, bassist Henry Franklin, drummer Woodrow Theus II, tenorman Ramon Morris (on two songs) and Bennie Maupin on tenor for "The Goat And The Archer." The music falls between hard bop, modal musings and the avant-garde. Although possessing a tone similar to Freddie Hubbard's, Woody Shaw was a more advanced player and his solos throughout the date are both original and consistently exciting. ~ AllMusic

Dear Bezz!
Sincerely I have a big respect on your work. Genius posts! The best in Avax!
Because of your changing on not anymore using FILEPOST, I've paid for a premium account (6 months) on Uploaded. What a BIG MISTAKE. They cutted my downloads saying that I was sharing my account only because my provider changes my IP address for technical problems. My God! How could I be so stupid! No money back, No downloads...
Please, change to something that works, like MEDIAFIRE or DEPOSITFILES. Thank you very very much to read to my appeal!
Thank you, William
P.S. If the Technical support on UPLOADED is reading this, my account is 8091406, and I want my money back!
