Album published during the '60s and directed by Bob Shad, a direct competitor of the label Command led by Enoch Light. The recording is performed by the Hal Mooney orchestra. Although in his early years Mooney played piano in orchestras likethe one of Jimmy Dorsey, after the WWII began making musical arrangements and gain fame at Universal Studios of Hollywood, where arranged topics for Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland Billy Eckstine and others. Later, between 1956 and the late 60s, he joined Mercury Records, where he developed much of his most recognized career, composing for singers like Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington and Nina Simone. During 70's he moved to Universal Studios until 1977 where he became a director and musical supervisor, in many films and TV series. This album features a total of 12 songs performed by highlighting orchestral instrumentation of flutes and percussion, live sound that build, sharp stabbing cuts to dress smiling and colorful musical environments.
