ESSENTIAL RECORDINGS FROM THE GRAMOPHONE CLASSICAL MUSIC GUIDE - INTO THE FUTURE I
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 9CDs | RS.com

ABOUT THIS COLLECTION
The Gramophone Guide also features another premium collection of essential recordings. This collection is divided into the five main eras of classical music which are thoroughly described on the first pages of the book. Each section features a list of recordings that has been carefully chosen to represent that specific era. With a total of 97 recordings, this cross-labelled collection could be said to represent the entire history of classical music and is certainly an obvious next step of downloads once you've completed the other collections on this page.

FILES, SCANS AND FOLDERS
I have collected these recordings through quite a long time. As far as it has been humanly possible I have provided the exact publication mentioned in The Gramophone Classical Music Guide. A few albums however have proved so difficult to get my hands on that I've had to settle for another publication from the same label, featuring the very same recording with the same performers, recorded on the same date etc. Most CD's have been ripped by myself, but some have been downloaded from other sources and were, of course, been ripped by someone else. I haven't had time to listen through every single CD, so should you find a flaw, a jitter or any other kind of error that EAC did somehow not detect, then please don't hesitate to let me know. The available scans have been collected from various sources but the majority were scanned by myself in 300 dpi. If you have scans of better quality than the ones included please send them to me in a private message so that I can integrate them into the project. As the foldernames inside the rar-files are a bit long I recommend you to extract them somewhere in the root of your system like C:\ or simular.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED
As I have so far only been able to find 77 out of the 97 recordings, we have to count on the generosity of you and all other good people of the AvaxHome community to help complete this magnificent collection. Therefore you are hereby all urged to check if you are able to get one or more of the missing albums in a similar quality (EAC lossless rip in Secure mode incl. cue- and log-file and some scans). Any help is most welcome and besides much thanks, gratitude and full credits, I will offer a reward of a free Rapidshare Premium Account valid for one month for each missing recording provided to this collection.
